What's a pageant all about?

• The Miss Hemet/San Jacinto and Miss Teen Hemet/San Jacinto pageant will provide young ladies with valuable community service knowledge along with an educational scholarship at the end of their year as a titleholder.

• How many titles will be awarded?

  Miss Teen – Ages 13-16
  Miss – Ages 17 to 23
  Age is determined as of November 1 of competition year

  What does a Miss Hemet/San Jacinto and Miss Teen Hemet/San Jacinto titleholder do?

  In addition to reigning until the next pageant, she represents the pageant program and her region at public appearance and acts as a positive role model for young ladies throughout their city. Also, titleholders receive many invitations and opportunities to appear at public events.

  How is the titleholder determined?

  Contestants compete in the categories of Personal Interview, Evening gown, Sportswear, and Onstage Question. Only these four categories are used to determine the titleholder in each division.
